For all of you who didn't get enough of our concerts in the past season, the HHO will present our summer concert on Wednesday, May 8th 8:00pm at Hart House Great Hall. The orchestra will be performing Beethoven's Eroica" Symphony and the Egmont Overture with our assistant conductor, William Rowson.

Admission is free as always.

The Hart House Orchestra will perform a benefit concert for St. George's Cathedral and the Canadian Diabetes Association in Kingston, Ontario on Saturday, February 16th, 2013. The event is sponsored by Conservatory Pond.

3. Attend your audition. Weekend auditions will be held on September 15th and 23rd.

Fall Concert

The HHO opens its 2011/2012 season with works by two Russian masters: Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Dmitri Shostakovich. The HHO Fall Concert will be held at Hart House Great Hall on Thursday, November 17, at 8pm. As always, admission is free, but seats are is limited, so come early. Join us also for a pre-concert performance featuring our very own conductors, Henry Janzen and William Rowson.

HHO's final concert of the 2012-2013 season will held in the Great Hall at Hart House, on April 4th at 8:00 pm. Admission is free.

The Hart House Orchestra continues its 2012/2013 season with Robert Schumann's Second Symphony. Also in the programme is a relatively unknown gem by Beethoven, the King Stephens Overture, and Copland's Clarinet Concerto, with HHO's very own assistant principal clarinetist Phil Lam as the soloist. The concert will be held in the Hart House Great Hall on February 14, 2013 at 8pm. As always admission is free, but seating is limited so come early for the best seats. This concert programme will be reprised for a benefit concert in Kingston, Ontario on February 16.

The Hart House Orchestra launches its 2012/2013 Season with Hector Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique. Pianist Ben Smith will join the orchestra for a performance of Camille Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 4.

Admission to the concert is free, but seating is limited.

Members of the HHO conducted by Henry Janzen will be performing Beethoven's Symphonies 1 & 2 in the Great Hall, Hart House at 7:30pm, Thursday, May 31. Admission is free.

The Hart House Orchestra wraps up the 2011-2012 Season with Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, Ravel's Bolero, and Introduction & Fanfare by Canadian composer and HHO's own William Rowson.
